Project Lead | Architectural Designer
Shonit joined Rooshad Shroff during a period of significant studio growth and progressed into a project-lead role. His work crossed architecture, interiors, furniture and exhibition design, but his responsibility remained consistent, to carry an idea through every stage at which it could be altered, diluted or lost.
That meant moving between concept design, client dialogue, construction documentation, consultant coordination, material research, specialist fabrication, costing and active construction sites. Working directly with craftspeople, artists and fabricators gave physical production an active role in the development of the work, not merely in its execution.
