You asked us to find you. So here I am. This isn’t just a pitch, it’s a gesture. A way to connect with a brand I deeply respect. Jaywalking has always been more than fashion and in its refusal to conform, I see echoes of my own approach which is rooted in intention, craft and meaning. This speculative store is how I reach out. A glimpse of how I see your world, made tangible

BALLARD ESTATE MUMBAI
2500 SQ.FT.
Located in the historic district of Ballard Estate, this 2500 sq.ft speculative store sits among Mumbai’s grand colonial facades and post-industrial fragments. The architecture draws from this duality—balancing the stripped-back honesty of Brutalism with the ornamented poise of Art Deco. The result is a space that doesn’t shout, but asserts—anchored in context yet pushing forward. It isn’t just designed for display, but to provoke thought and invite presence.

The architectural palette is intentionally restrained, using concrete, stone, and metal to establish a grounded and sculptural presence. Concrete panels form the primary exterior skin, giving the building a monolithic and quiet stance in its dense urban context. Stone is used to frame utilitarian elements like windows and skylights, turning them into subtle moments of emphasis. A blackened metal marks the pre-foyer, designed to age naturally and develop bluish and purplish patina over time. Perforated metal flooring introduces an industrial texture underfoot, drawing a direct link to the building’s utilitarian
